Sqlhtm.com's Hits Increase By 200% - Is It Font3dTemplates At Work?

Sqlhtm.com-Webalizer Stats[2011-2012]

I know what I did last winter - came up with Font3dTemplates, that's what I did!!!

The website hit count of sqlhtm.com [hosted by Greengeeks.com] more than doubled from 6000 hits to 12000 hits per month between last November and December, currently about 20000 hits per month. And the files count jumped up too.

What's going on - I wondered.

After some deep thought and some looking up, I realized that it coincided perfectly with Font3dTemplates arriving on the scene early December late last year. Look at the webalizer image above - It can't be anything else, it's got to be Font3dTemplates!

Change the values in bold red (below in the HTML code) to your taste.That's all.

SAVE YOUR HTML 3D FONTS/TEXT AS AN IMAGE

Wasn't that easy?

Now, if you love your HTML 3D creation , you can save it as an image for your future use.

Just follow these steps.

1.Make a screen print of the webpage with 3D fonts [Print Screen]

2.Open an image editor [I used Irfanview] and paste it [Ctrl-V]

3.Resize [Ctrl-R]

4.Select the outline of the image and Crop [Ctrl-Y]

5.Save in a format with the smallest size [Use the "Save for web" item from File menu and compare among Jpeg,Gif and Png formats for the smallest size].

Now you have the image saved for your future requirements.

Try to shrink a paragraph and stumble upon the easiest 3D font-making method?

GreenScraper - My Adaptation Of Nick Young's Excellent Game

Here is my adaptation of Nick's unbelievable game which is the javascript version of breakout. In this version, instead of clearing the game board of all the gradient tiles/ boxes, you scrape the colors off the tiles/boxes and paint them all green with the bat and ball-that's all. I love it when the ball goes all the way up to the top through the cracks sometimes and bounces on top of all boxes on the top row before painting them green. Make sure to set the speed to the GO SLOW setting before starting the game. If you can complete a game in GO FAST setting, I will give you the title of SPEED GURU!

MyFontYourFontHot - Any Text Hot Viewer

Make changes to text, font size and preview at once!

Here is the third tool in the MyFontYourFont series after the fontset viewer and post viewer. It is called the "MyFontYourFont-Any Text Hot Viewer". Unlike the earlier two, this uses a HTA viewer not the Chrome browser. This is required for scripting. The main advantage of the HTA viewer is the ability to change the text and font size and preview the content at once at the press of a button on the same page, unlike the post viewer where you have to keep the text in a separate file and run the program for every change of text. The disadvantage is that, unlike Chrome, I could not get the HTA viewer to display the bold, italic and the bold italic styles and weights for some fonts even though the regular font displays fine. There are lots of uses for the Hot Viewer including, but not limited to viewing your name, company name, addresses or even full passages like blog posts with ALL INSTALLED FONTS ON YOUR PC OR LAPTOP quickly and easily.

*View names, addresses or any text with all installed fonts on your pc or laptop so you can choose the best one.
*Change the text and font size any number of times and preview at once.
*View multi-line text like addresses, blog posts, web articles. Just use the tag for line break.

Back in the old days, a web page was a web page was a web page, that was all.
You just used the same font for all the content on the page or may be added a header tag if you were really enterprising. You did not have to mess with css, browser compatibility or any other fancy stuff so you always had a page you could bet on, which really was one lo...ng uncomplicated sequence of paragraphs with the same font.
Times have changed.
If you go site to site on the internet for a few minutes, you can see how beautiful the really good websites and blogs look with fonts that make you go green with envy.
While it is true that little changes to font schemes in your css stylesheets can make unbelievable changes to the appearance of your web pages, it is not easy to visualize in your mind how different fonts will look or fit your design.
That is why excellent font viewers such as FontList that help you pick and choose the best font types and sizes for your websites become indispensable.
Looking for ways to get a comparative view of all installed fonts, I wrote two scripts that suit my needs, are simple and free, but also very useful additions to anyone's web toolkit.

When a hidden checkbox stays stubburnly grayed out

One of the user folders might end up hidden when an adware attacks. Right-clicking and selecting properties might show a stubborn grayed out HIDDEN checkbox on the general tab. No amount of haggling with the security tab[Rightclick on the folder-Sharing and security-Security] may seem to help. To add insult to injury, the administrator account might seem to be as powerless as the user account in the inability to clear the hidden checkbox.

This little one-liner may be all that is needed to get that "grayed-out-hidden-checkbox" problem go away.

1.Start a command window
Start-Run-Cmd or
Start-All programs-Accessories-Command Window as Administrator

2.CD hidden-folder

3.ATTRIB -r -s -h /s /d *.*

Watch out for special folders like the system folders that need to be hidden!

I had never had the taskbar icons of the running programs play hide-and-seek with me on my XP-HOME-SP3 laptop before.If you are in a similar situation there is a solution HERE.You may need to run it in safe mode if you get "PERMISSION DENIED-GETOBJECT" errors.

Safe Mode Resolution-Not Scary AnyMore!

I know I am not supposed to take a winter vacation in safe mode and that it is just for quick troubleshooting but man, did I hate not being able to change the display resolution! The dialog boxes wouldn't tell me if I was clicking on OK instead of CANCEL and the windows and other screens looked like they had their revenge in safe mode. Not any more. I almost thought this one won't work because it looked so simple but what magic! I CAN change the display to a better resolution thanks to this great post at mydigitallife.info.

PainPoint-XP services that startup automatically by default

Have you ever gotten above yourself with a spirit of adventure, turned off and disabled a bunch of default automatic services thinking they are wasteful and consume too much CPU on a slow saturday night, and woke up to find your pc going crazy on monday morning?
I was in a similar situation and it was even worse, at a time when I was cleaning up some adware-related annoyances.
Anyway, what I found out for sure: The disk management and disk defragmenter tools that I started from right-clicking on MYCOMPUTER and MANAGE started working again when I started and changed all default xp home services to automatic again!
Search the MS website for the page on xp home services that start automatically on startup and make sure they are not disabled or manual.
